The core range of Key Plant Automation Extra Heavy Duty (EHD) Column and Boom’s start from 7m x 7m. Our EHD series are highly robust column & boom manipulators, designed for long reaches of the boom and larger weights at the end of the boom. The EHD series is the primary solution for the largest, extra heavy duty fabrication work and payloads.

The column is mounted on an all rigid fabrication base complete with machined guideways for elevation of boom-carriage. Robust fabricated steel boom carriage counterbalanced and fitted with a safety device against counterbalance chain breakage. We have two ropes fitted on the Column Control up/down. If one rope was cut then the other rope has the capability and safe working load to hold the boom in position.
